POT BELLY OR BENT PICKET RAIL:
  Pot belly or bent picket rail is a way to keep with the low cost of mechanically fastened railing while giving the look that of a custom welded railing system. The railing system is the same as the standard commercial rail, the spacing, posts and even top/bottom channels are the same, what differs is the picket. The ¾” picket is heated and bent into either a potbelly, wave style, bowed, or arc picket and followed by a powder coat. The process does of course make this railing cost a little more and it is not uncommon for customers to use the intricate railing on the front and save money on the sides of the project.
