Standard Commercial Rail:
  Standard commercial rail is the most common type of railing system available; the pickets are 38” tall giving the railing an overall height of 42” standard for straight runs and shorter to local building code standards on stairs. The railing is mechanically fastened together using stainless steel screws and the heads of the screws are hidden from view with either the top mushroom cap or the obscured in the bottom channel. The standard mushroom cap is a G1 style, although ADA will require larger caps on certain commercial jobs, you will need to check with your local building department or ask one of our sales associates for guidance. New construction and some remodels now require a continuous grab surface on all stairs; this is important to know because it can get tricky on multi stair sections, rounded or curved stairs, and even straight run stairs.
