Not only does the Storm Smart Fabric Shield product come in a multitude of colors to best suit your individual needs, it has the ability to roll up into a top mounted box just like a roll shutter. Fabric Shield is best suited for very large openings without glass, such as covering an entire lanai instead of covering each individual window. Because any brand of Fabric Shield has a certain percent of deflection, if you absolutely must cover a glazed opening, you will need to keep the fabric away from the glass otherwise the impacting projectile will still be able to break the glass.
