When installed correctly, most major insurance companies offer an annual discount to policyholders with approved storm protection, therefore paying for themselves over time. Also having storm protection increases the overall resale value of your home. At Affordable Aluminum we believe the products we manufacture here in our shop should be considered “investment grade” storm protection, like the Accordion Shutters, Bahamas, Colonials, and Roll Shutters. At Affordable Aluminum, we have spared no expense in creating what we consider the highest quality shutter available in the industry today. We have broken our manufactured storm protection into two distinct styles of every shutter we build, the “ELITE” brand shutter uses only the highest quality components, most innovative designs, and the best possible finishes. Our “BULLDOG” brand shutter was specifically designed as a builders grade shutter, although it is quickly becoming known in the industry as the standard at which other companies compare their shutters to. Both shutter systems provide the same level of storm protection; we at Affordable Aluminum do not manufacture any storm protection that is not recognized by the Florida Building Code as full impact storm protection.
