RESIDENTIAL:
Our product line of residential windows and doors are PGT and Simonton, we also have a line of Western Reflections style front and side doors. When it comes to windows and doors the options are numerous, in windows you can have insulated (two pieces of glass with insulating air pocket between them), impact resistant, tinted to keep up to 99 percent of UV rays out to keep furniture, rugs, and drapes looking new (including solar cool, bronze, grey, green, obscure, azure blue, grey31), and colonial inserts. Glass options and low-E coatings offer additional energy protection and energy efficiency. They come in single hung; double hung, horizontal sliders, picture and arch top just to name a few. Doors have a lot of the same options as windows and also can have leaded glass inserts; hand cut beveled glass, custom etching, and even integrated shades. Most masonry home window openings are commodity size, when the homes are being built new they leave a certain number of cinder block out to make the opening size, i.e. 2 blocks wide and 3 blocks high. It usually costs a little more to order the windows custom size but for a “DIY” homeowner having that ¼” extra room in the opening could save a brand new window from being broken. Most professional installers have already found out exactly how much installation pressure breaks a window.
PGT windows and sliding glass doors are one of the very best selections that you can make, they are custom made in Venice, FL and their service is second to none. Their product line starts with a “builder’s grade” 300 series and goes up to the top on the line non-impact 2500 series and impact series Wind-Guard. You can get them in either vinyl frame or aluminum frame in a variety of colors.
The Simonton window lines are also an extremely high quality product line and are available with most of the same mentioned options. When it comes to front and side doors, the Reflection line has some incredibly beautiful choices. The door has a wood look but is in fact solid fiberglass for wind and impact resistance; the glass can be leaded, etched, and has multiple privacy options.
